Vinyasa yoga, in which movement is synchronized to the breath, is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. This style is sometimes also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.

The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale.

Blessing Basket Event

Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School's Angel Tree fulfills children's Christmas wishes with gifts every year. However, many of these families still go without a Christmas dinner. Resident Faith Mading is hosting a Blessing Basket Event on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Victoria Hebert Great Room, to gather together and prepare baskets of goods for these families. Please click here to RSVP!

When you register, please fill a reusable grocery bag with the following essentials and bring it with you to our event. We’ll assemble the backsets at the event and a gift card for the main dish will be provided.

  •  Boxed Mashed Potatoes or Rice       
  • Can of Gravy                      
  •  Can of Sweet Potatoes
  • Can of Green Vegetables
  • Cornbread, Muffin/Biscuit Mix
