It's fun and effective, using interval training combining fast and slow rhythms for an effective aerobic workout while at the same time targeting your legs, abs, glutes and arms. The workout is watch and follow. The moves are repeated often enough for you to catch on and they're not complicated. The routines are repeated week after week with additions every now and then to spice things up even more! Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be 'FUN AND EASY TO DO' for Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba fitness program to achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is not only great for the body, but it is also great for the mind!

George Washington Parade

Thousands of spectators will line the streets of Old Town Alexandria to cheer on the oldest and largest George Washington Birthday Parade in the country. This year’s parade theme is George Washington: America’s Commander-in-Chief, marking the 250th anniversary of the start of the Revolutionary War and founding of the United States Army. The Parade Grand Marshal will be Lieutenant General Heidi J. Hoyle, Deputy Chief of Staff of the United States Army.

Dinner Promotion to Support Alexandria Tutoring Consortium

Many Cameron Station residents tutor at Tucker Elementary through the Alexandria Tutoring Consortium (ATC).  On Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the Royal Restaurant in Old Town will donate 20% of food and bar proceeds (after tax and tip) directly to ATC. ARC Application Due Date for 3/19 Meeting

Residents are required per the Design & Maintenance Standards to submit an application for approval from the Architectural Review Committee prior to making any exterior modification to your home or lot. Click here for more information.

The Architectural Review Committee meets the third Wednesday of each month. 

It is important to note the upcoming ARC meeting dates and the application due date for your request. If there are questions, information, and/or documents that are not received by the application due date, your application will be scheduled for the following month (based on finalizing your application).
