On Sunday, December 8, 2024, Cameron Station held its annual Holiday Party. With a turnout of over 550 residents and numerous festivities, this was arguably the largest event of the year.
Outdoor events included: horse carriage rides, meeting Santa, and a Holiday Market. The horse carriage route started on Ben Brenman Dr and continued around the main gazebo. At the gazebo, children were given the opportunity to meet Santa and indulge in hot chocolate and cookies. Coffee was also available for the adults. too. Around 12:30 pm, a group of flash mob dancers entertained the crowd. This was the third year of the Holiday Market. Marketplace sellers were able to showcase their unique goods and residents could do some holiday shopping.
At the Cameron Club, Maggiano's was served from noon until 3 pm, along with an assortment of drinks. The Victoria Hebert Great Room featured a plethora of activities: a Photo Booth (photos accessible here with password "CAMERON"), face painter, balloon artist, and numerous crafts. A special thanks goes to all the volunteers that helped make this event possible, including setting up, serving food, and cleaning up after the event.
